Job summary

Spectral force Technologies is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist I for a 3-month assignment in Vancouver, WA. The role requires working the 3rd shift (8 PM–6:30 AM) with weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Responsibilities include specimen acceptability, testing, and quality control in a clinical lab setting. Candidates should have a MLS-related degree and familiarity with laboratory information systems, plus strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or an equivalent.
• BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with training/experience in the specialty.
• 36 credit hours in Biology and Chemistry with equivalent CLS training.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs; monitor and troubleshoot instruments.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish bench supplies; assist with specimen processing.
