Job summary

OneBlood in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time overnight courier to transport blood, products, campus mail, and medical equipment between processing centers, branches, and hospitals. Training is required, and a flexible schedule with a potential weekend differential applies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, up to one year of route delivery experience, and strong record-keeping skills. You’ll work overnight 10:00pm–8:30am, with training sessions 8:00am–4:30pm for 1–2 weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year route delivery experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Knowledge of safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately transport blood and blood products, campus mail, supplies and equipment via van/small truck.
• Demonstrate safe driving and adhere to driving regulations.
• Load and unload vehicles using proper lifting techniques.
• Deliver inventory to designated points within routes including branches and hospitals.
• Keep logs of items received and delivered; document daily activities.
• Perform basic safety checks on vehicles and report issues.
• Serve as back-up on-call driver for other shifts/routes when needed.
• Notify supervisor of concerns, issues, or delays.
