Job summary

Workcare Inc in Clay, NY is seeking a full-time night shift Medical Assistant to provide drug and alcohol testing services, clinical support, and admin duties under supervision of clinic leadership.

The role includes collecting samples, vital signs, basic diagnostic tests, record-keeping, and workers’ compensation support. Night schedule is 4:00pm–12:00am, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Must have a current BLS certification.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Drug & Alcohol Testing: collect oral fluid, urine, and breath alcohol samples.
• Clinical duties: perform vital signs, EKG, audiogram, spirometry, vision, and respirator fit testing.
• Administrative duties: answer phones, schedule appointments, maintain records and supplies.
• Workers’ compensation case management support; assist in program operations.
