Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for night shift in North Carolina, requiring 2 years MS/Tele experience and NC or compact RN licensure. BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications and Epic EMR proficiency are required.

The role takes place in a Level III Trauma Center with 733 beds, night shifts 4x12 hours, and 1:5-6 patient ratios. Every other weekend is required, with floating to affiliated campuses and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

Active NC or compact RN license required (pending license not accepted).
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience required.
Epic EMR experience required.
No background or license actions within the past 12 months.
SSN and DOB required for consideration.

Responsibilities

Med/Surg Tele unit within a Level III Trauma Center teaching hospital.
733 staffed beds.
Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00).
Patient ratios of 1:5-6.
Every other weekend required.
No on-call requirements.
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including affiliated campuses.
Uses Epic charting system.
Travelers must float to affiliated campuses as needed.
