Job summary

Bluffton Regional Medical Center is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for Night Shift in our Med Surg Unit. The RN delivers patient-centered care through the nursing process and collaborates with physicians and health-care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role includes 12-hour shifts (7p-7a), 36 hours per week, and eligibility for a Sign On Bonus, Student Loan Repayment, and other benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• RN license valid in Indiana and BCLS certification required.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care using nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions when needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
