Job summary

Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN is seeking a Med/Surg LPN, IV Certified for a full-time night shift to provide routine nursing care and support under supervision of physicians and RNs. The role reports to the charge nurse, Nurse Manager and/or Nurse Director.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LPN program, Tennessee LPN license, IV certification, and BLS/ACLS/PALS per hospital policy. Prior hospital or nursing home experience preferred; sign-on bonus of $5,000 offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• 1 year LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home environment preferred.
• Current Tennessee State Licensed Practical Nurse with no restrictions.
• Must be IV Certified.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine technical nursing duties and assist with patient care.
• Explain programs offered by the Hospital to individuals.
• Work under supervision of a licensed physician and/or registered nurse; reports to charge nurse, Nurse Manager or Nurse Director.
