Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida, is seeking an entry-level Materials Management Technician to begin a career in hospital supply chain operations. This full-time role supports storage, handling, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment in a healthcare setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma, weekend/holiday availability, and rotating shifts with a 6pm-6am schedule. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive pediatric healthcare

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Hospital supply chain experience or warehouse experience highly preferred.
Ability to work weekends and holidays required.
Flexible with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Receives, inspects, warehouses, stores, transports/delivers, issues, safeguards, accounts for, and replenishes medical materials and equipment at required locations in a timely fashion.
Processes receipts for incoming supplies and ensures quality and quantity match supporting documentation.
Performs required computer operations and operates material handling equipment.
Applies special handling procedures for storing hazardous material and uses PPE as required.
Prepares and processes documents and transactions for inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
Communicates with department managers to ensure up-to-date associate listings.
