Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, FL seeks an entry-level Materials Management Technician to begin a career in hospital supply chain operations within a supportive healthcare environment.

Schedule: Full-time, 7am - 3:30pm with alternating weekends and holidays. Located in Orlando, Nemours Children’s Hospital provides comprehensive pediatric care and a network of outpatient services. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Hospital supply chain experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays required.
• Shifts are rotational and schedule flexibility is expected.

Responsabilités

• Receives, inspects, warehouses, stores, transports/delivers, issues, safeguards, accounts for, and replenishes medical material supplies and equipment at required locations in a timely fashion.
• Processes receipts for incoming supplies, ensures quality and quantity of materials match supporting documentation, and notes discrepancies.
• Performs required computer operations functions and operates material handling equipment.
• Applies special handling procedures for storing hazardous material, utilizes PPE, performs inventories and quality assurance inspections.
• Prepares and processes documents and transactions required, monitors requests, implements materials activities for inventory control, accounting, and management of supplies and equipment.
