Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL is seeking an entry-level Materials Management Technician to support hospital supply chain operations. This full-time role requires 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, storing, delivering, and replenishing medical supplies and equipment; performing inventory control; and ensuring safety and accuracy of materials through proper documentation and handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital supply chains preferred but entry-level positions are available.
• Ability to manage inventory and ensure accuracy of materials in a healthcare setting.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, warehouses, stores, transports, issues, safeguards, and replenishes medical supplies and equipment.
• Processes receipts for incoming supplies and ensures documentation matches delivered items.
• Performs inventory control, data entry, and uses material handling equipment.
• Ensures materials are stored and handled according to safety procedures and policies.
• Regularly communicates with hospital departments to maintain adequate stock levels.
