Job summary

The J.R. Simplot Company is seeking a Materials Inventory Control Technician for the GF Plant in Ontario. This role focuses on monitoring daily inventory movements, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate FIFO processes to support production.

You will perform cycle counts, reconcile data, operate forklifts, and use Microsoft Office to document shift information. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains communication with team members and aligns with goals.
• Manages inventory in the dry ingredient area and loads/unloads trucks.
• Monitors FIFO and coordinates production materials.
• Performs cycle counts and reconciles inventory data.
• Operates forklift and conducts daily equipment inspections.
• Ensures food safety, GMPs, and sanitation standards.
• Utilizes computer systems to document shift information.
