Job summary

The J.R. Simplot Company is seeking a production operator to work at the Ontario GF Plant. You will help maintain smooth operation of the production lines while upholding safety and GMP standards, and you will document shift information and reports.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and communicate clearly. The role runs 6:00pm–6:00am with a pay rate of $21.02/hour and no relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Lift Truck with platform/scissor lift endorsement within 30 days.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate clearly to perform job duties.
• Basic computer skills and manual dexterity are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMP standards.
• Operate production lines and assist as needed to ensure smooth operation.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel and document shift information.
• Perform daily cleaning and startup duties as required.
• Create work orders for equipment maintenance during downtime.
