Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support efficient production by operating packaging equipment, supplying materials to the line, and providing forklift support on night shift.

Responsibilities include starting up and shutting down packaging equipment, recording production data, keeping equipment stocked with consumables, and maintaining a clean, safe 5S work area. The role requires standing, some lifting up to 50 pounds, and ability to work in dusty indoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Safety conscious mindset.
• Basic maintenance skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down dry end packaging equipment.
• Inputs production run data into the computers controlling the equipment according to the production schedule.
• Keeps the machines running correctly and with the correct product information.
• Maintains an uninterrupted supply of bags, labels and other consumables to the equipment in area.
• Dumps hoppers.
• Monitoring and reporting in-process quality observations to other production team-mates.
• Maintain the 5 S posture of the assigned area.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
