Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Material Handler to operate packaging equipment and provide forklift support in a heavy industrial setting. You will help maintain a clean, organized workspace while ensuring accurate handling of materials from receiving to shipping.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training will cover 5S, waste disposal, and proper packaging procedures to support our production teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 1–2 years of vocational training / associate degree.
• Safety conscious mindset and adherence to policies.
• Basic maintenance skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and provide forklift support to operations.
• Maintain 5S in the assigned area and manage work in progress.
• Unload incoming raw materials and load finished product on trucks.
• Build pallets and prepare packaging materials per product standards.
• Complete production paperwork and verify daily production.
• Perform waste disposal per work instructions and participate in cycle counts.
