Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing in Richfield, WI is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am). Compensation starts at $22+ per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities as part of a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities include moving materials, operating a forklift, and maintaining safe, efficient work areas. The role requires basic physical ability, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in a cold, wet environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior material handling experience and experience operating powered industrial vehicles.
• Constant walking, standing, bending and stooping.
• Frequent lifting of items up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work in an environment with cold temperatures and a wet environment.
• Strong teamwork mentality and eager to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in combos/vats according to predetermined sequence.
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials and distribute to production areas.
• Record amount of materials or items received or distributed.
• Operate forklift and automation system to move product throughout the manufacturing plant, including moving raw material to production floor and finished goods to packaged storage.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tooling and workspace area.
• Protect employees and company safety and security through reporting and stopping occurrences such as damage to product and/or property, theft, product tampering and questionable behavior.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
