Job summary

NIBCO is seeking a Material Handler in Indiana to operate powered industrial vehicles and move materials to support molding machines and internal customers. You will handle material flow, move finished goods, and assist with staging and packaging while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a forklift license or training, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle license or training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to use scanner guns and radios.
• Must meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Move and supply materials to team members as needed.
• Remove finished goods and WIP from machines to holding areas.
• Perform stretch wrapping and put-away for finished goods.
• Inspect and unload raw materials from bulk trucks into silos.
• Ensure hoppers are clean and can switch material lines.
• Label containers with type and lot information.
• Weigh and document scrap and WIP data.
• Maintain hopper loading systems and related equipment.
• Scan pallet labels to update FG production data.
• Report safety hazards and incidents to supervision.
• Know IQ system.
• Other duties as assigned by your team leader.
