Job summary

French's Food Company, a McCormick & Company subsidiary, is seeking a full-time Material Handler for the Springfield, MO plant. This role reports to the Production Team Manager and supports the packaging line to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, and shifts may include D shift 1AM-7AM and 7PM-7AM; other shifts may be offered. Training will be provided, and adherence to GMP standards will be expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; training provided.
• Willingness to work varied shifts as needed.
• Ability to perform data entry and use basic computer systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packaging area meets safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow safety rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of assigned area.
• Inspect materials for defects and reject nonconforming items.
• Record lot traceability data and participate in changeovers.
• Operate equipment per BOM and assist with line changes.
• Follow daily production schedule and meet deadlines.
