Job summary

Metals USA in Muskogee, OK, seeks a Material Handler/Loader for the night shift (9pm - 5:30am). The role involves loading metal materials into trucks using an overhead crane and handling inventory with limited supervision.

Requirements include six months minimum experience in material handling or related fields, ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, and forklift certification on 5k and 10k units. PPE and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing ability in English to read instructions, tickets, safety and policies manuals.
• Measuring skills to read and convert English and Metric systems.
• Arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations.
• Tags material for proper identification.
• Pulls and assembles customer orders in order of delivery.
• Operates yard truck for loading/unloading trailers.
• Operates cranes to load/unload trailers.
• Operates forklift (5k or 10k) to load/unload trailers.
• Completes work order paperwork/documentation.
• Restocks material.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
