Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for facilitating various inbound and outbound functions of processing merchandise to fulfill customer orders. These tasks must be completed efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth operations. The role involves using internal warehouse systems and equipment, including Powered Industrial Trucks where applicable.

Responsibilities

Inbound:

• Unload domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment or import containers manually
• Use our ERP system to receive inventory accurately and efficiently, preparing it for storage
• Move palletized products using pallet jacks or forklifts to organize the receiving dock or transport to other areas
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations with forklift equipment and handheld scanners
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety protocols
• Maintain safety, efficiency, and quality standards
• Keep the work environment clean and report hazards
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals
• Follow all company and warehouse policies
• Support other positions and departmental duties as needed

Outbound:

• Pull stock to fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately
• Complete orders for shipment
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely
• Use hand tools to complete tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe work zone
