Job description

MOO is seeking an efficient, driven, and organized Material Handler to join the company’s Manufacturing team in Dagenham. This role is crucial for stock control and handling of goods, ensuring the team is well stocked with relevant consumables.

This is an exciting opportunity at our Dagenham location within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate must be efficient, organized, able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team. The role also involves streamlining working processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Warehouse Team, supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations, and will report to Warehouse Management.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player who can work well with others and stay focused when working independently. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, especially in picking, handling, and tracking materials. The candidate should be proactive in keeping operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) for loading and unloading goods.
  • Maintain stock levels in warehouse and stores.
  • Keep accurate records of stock movements.
  • Notify Supply Chain or Manufacturing Management of stock reordering needs.
  • Update stock arrival information.
  • Handle inbound/outbound operations, stock control, and investigations.
  • Perform regular stock intake and put away deliveries.
  • Ensure stock levels are correct at various stations and input data into Netsuite monthly.
  • Maintain store maps and keep the workspace clean and tidy.
  • Conduct daily safety checks on FLT and racking.
  • Ensure FLT is maintained and charged.
  • Be computer literate to carry out duties effectively.
  • Regularly empty waste bins and stack waste pallets neatly.
  • Match P.O.s with incoming goods, attach receipts, and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with outbound pickups if necessary.
