Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler in Fall River, WI for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday). The role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within the distribution center, operating a forklift and stand-up picker, and ensuring daily forklift inspections.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, good math and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced team, and the stamina to stand all shift

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2 years forklift experience recommended in a warehouse.
Ability to perform basic math.
Strong problem solving and self-sufficiency.
Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and standing 8 hours.

Responsibilities

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the distribution center.
Loads and unloads materials from racking, floor, trucks, etc.
Conveys materials to designated areas using forklift, hand truck, or stand up picker.
Operate industrial truck and stand up picker to assist loading or moving materials.
Fill out a daily inspection before starting the forklift.
Assist with housekeeping as it relates to the 6S plan.
Ensure compliance with safety standards.
