Job summary

United Alloy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Material Handler for on-site work at our Union, OH facility. You will move materials, support production lines, and prepare products for shipment using sit-down forklifts and other equipment, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

This role requires lifting up to 100 pounds with assist, weekend-night shift hours (Sunday night 11:00pm–Friday 7:00am) and a $3/hour shift premium; overtime may apply based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license required.
• Certified forklift driving with at least one year of experience.
• Experience operating LP gas driven forklift.
• Able to move at least 1,000 lbs. with a forklift.
• Operate overhead cranes, bander, shrink wrapper, and calipers.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently 50 lbs, occasional 100 lbs with assist.

Responsibilities

• Pulls stored materials for orders and moves to production or shipping area.
• Documents information related to material handling of goods.
• Issues raw material to jobs and transfers in CSI accurately.
• Counts material and stocks work area with supplies.
• Maintains clear pathways and follows safety practices on the floor.
• Performs kiting and handles materials with care and accuracy.
