Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Material Handler for the Z shift at our Kansas City, MO plant. You will operate powered industrial trucks, move, stack, and inventory materials to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, English fluency, and the ability to work up to 12 hours per day, including Saturdays and Sundays. This is a 5:00 PM–5:00 AM shift, Friday through Sunday, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Hi-lo/forklift driving experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Able to work up to 12 hours per day, including weekends.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and control movement of lifting devices.
• Move and stack material, load/unload pallets.
• Inventory materials on the shop floor and supply workers as needed.
• Assist in replenishment and supply materials as needed to maintain flow.
• Support plant operations to meet customer needs with urgency.
