Job summary

Mars is seeking a Material Handler at Royal Canin in Fremont, NE. This day shift role (6pm–6:30am) supports efficient production and on-time shipping of quality pet foods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Must be willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules.
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: operate equipment safely and follow SOPs.
• Equipment Operation (MHE): operate forklifts to move, stage, and stack inventory.
• Inventory Control: perform inventories and use WMS/GCSS to maintain stock accountability.
• Preventive Maintenance & Safety Checks: conduct routine checks on forklifts and equipment.
• Shipping & Receiving: load/unload trucks and manage shipping docs (BOL, manifests).
• Quality Assurance: manage food safety holds and released products.
• Team Support & Housekeeping: keep sanitation standards; assist Warehouse Area Lead.
• Communication: maintain clear, functional team communication.
