Atkore in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 12:00 AM–8:00 AM). The role offers a starting wage of $23.46 per hour plus a $0.75/hour shift differential, with potential overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–5 years of forklift operation, inventory control, and RF scanning experience.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions; good attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily safety inspection of forklift and work area.
• Communicates with the previous shift.
• Operates a forklift following safety rules and procedures.
• Follow the maximum load limits, understand the center of gravity and its effects on load limits, and how to secure loads.
• Transports finished goods and raw materials to the designated areas.
• Loading and Unloading trailers properly, following inspection of all floors and walls of all incoming trailers before loading.
