Printpack Jackson is seeking a Material Handler to safely move materials through the plant and maintain accurate inventory. The role supports production by ensuring raw materials, WIP, and finished goods are available as needed.

You will operate forklifts, perform safety checks, count inventory, and document locations using handheld devices. This position requires a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am) on a 2/2/3 schedule with a $2.50/hr night premium.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environments preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules and count inventory.
• Basic math and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
• Team-oriented with strong time management.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections and keep documentation up to date.
• Load and unload trucks per shipping schedules.
• Store/retrieve pallets and document locations.
• Stage materials per production schedules and move WIP between locations.
• Maintain organized storage and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Complete safety logs and participate in 5S practices.
• Assist CI program and other duties as assigned.
