Job summary

Uponor in Apple Valley, MN is seeking a Material Mixing team member for the night shift. You will unload railcars of polyethylene resin with a vacuum transport system, then load into silos and IBCs, before dispatching to our manufacturing facility for processing.

This role requires forklift operation, scanner usage, and accurate inventory handling. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to production schedules within a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent, 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift operation certification required.
• OSHA training required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes daily activities to support function and business strategy.
• Models Uponor values and leads peers through collaboration and influence.
• Provides input on performance objectives aligned with strategy.
• Maintains high performance standards.
• Loads resin into IBC and transports with forklift; logs inventory in system.
• Uses scanner to locate inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Maintains a clean, safe dock area.
• Performs inventory transactions in HighJump system.
