Job summary

Uponor (GF Building Flow Solutions) is hiring for a Material Handling role in Apple Valley, MN. The position supports the Mixing function by unloading railcars, loading resin into IBCs, and transporting materials to the manufacturing facility for processing.

Responsibilities include prioritizing daily activities, maintaining accurate inventory, and coordinating with railroad representatives. OHSA forklift certification is required or obtainable during onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; 1–3 years manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Experience with inventory systems and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Unload railcars of resin using vacuum system and load into IBCs.
• Transport resin with forklift to staging area and label inventory.
• Verify accuracy and coordinate railcar shipments with rail reps.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and accurate records.
• Assist in initial training and align actions with business strategy.
