Job summary

BlueScope is hiring a Material Handler to operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move materials around the plant, yard, or warehouse. You’ll load, unload, and stage items, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards in a night shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes or other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in handling materials and inventory.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Transport materials within the plant or yard.
• Lift and position materials using lifting devices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and housekeeping (5-S).
• Maintain organized inventory and support shift handoffs.
