Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Material Handler for the night shift in Sioux Falls, SD to coordinate shipping and warehouse activities, ensuring on-time delivery and correct product labeling.

The role requires forklift certification, ability to move pallets and operate warehouse systems. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or preferred.
• Basic computer skills to operate warehouse systems.
• Ability to use scanners and label cartons accurately.
• Ability to move pallets, load trucks and move items safely.
• Follow instructions and prioritize daily shipments.
• Understand safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Stock raw materials, components, and finished goods in the warehouse.
• Gather, review, and sort daily orders by ship date.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure on-time shipment.
• Match product and customer orders for correct quantities and labeling.
• Prepare UPS/FedEx shipments according to customer requirements.
