Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Material Handler for the 3rd shift at our Dallas, TX facility. Core hours are Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m., with potential overtime. Hourly pay is $20.00 plus a $1.25 shift premium ($21.25 total per hour).

The role moves materials in the distribution center via receiving, restocking, picking, packing and shipping to enable order processing. Forklift experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required, with safety and quality emphasis throughout.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience with Stand-Up, Sit-Down, Cherry Picker, or Reach Truck forklift.
• Must be within 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX.
• Eaton does not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or H-1B applications.

Responsibilities

• Move material throughout the distribution center via receiving, restocking, picking, packing, and shipping to fulfill customer orders.
• Retrieve styles and quantities using picking process; inspect and count; restock as needed.
• Unload and stage pallets; generate move tickets; verify counts with scanning equipment.
• Verify styles and quantities; prepare shipping cartons with packing material.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate orders.
• Maintain safety and quality, report unsafe acts, and be adaptable to other areas.
