Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Z shift Forklift Operator to support our plant operations. You will move pallets, load/unload materials, and maintain accurate inventories while following safety procedures.

The role requires English literacy, ability to work up to 12 hours, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Prior material handling and Hi-Lo driving experience are preferred, as is a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling work experience preferred.
• Previous HiLo driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to move pallets, materials, and loads.
• Unloads and stacks materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Assists in inventory counts and ensures accuracy on the shop floor.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets and trailers as required.
• Recharges forklift batteries or replaces liquefied gas tanks.
• Supports plant flow and adheres to safety and process procedures.
