Job summary

bioMérieux SA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 to operate high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment for BacT/ALERT products in a cGMP environment. The role supports batch production, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position requires 12-hour shifts (overnight), training teammates, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards, with a strong emphasis on equipment handling and process compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Certification in a Bioworks Program or equivalent is preferred.
• BioWorks, LEAN or other Continuous Improvement Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate high speed manufacturing equipment, often highly automated, using HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Maintain compliance with all SOPs and ensure batch paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Train and certify teammates on production processes and procedures.
• Assist with validation protocols and deviations analysis to maintain a validated state.
• Generate reports, charts and KPI data to identify problems and support decision making.
