Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Shift C supervisor to oversee the assembly and packing operations within a manufacturing cell, ensuring compliance with manufacturing and quality regulations and meeting customer expectations for quality, service, and cost.

You will train and evaluate new employees, plan cross-training, maintain a motivated workforce, and coordinate process changes while keeping quality and performance targets in view.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Engineering or related field with 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• One-year supervisor experience in a manufacturing FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly and packing operations.
• Address materials and equipment issues.
• Maintain absenteeism to a minimum level according to Baxter policies.
• Train and evaluate new employees.
• Plan cross training for regular associates.
• Maintain a motivated workforce.
• Coordinate and supervise code changes.
• Keep process monitoring on quality and performance targets.
• Promote a world class environment through working team and suggestions.
• Develop and establish process improvement.
• Evaluate complaints data.
• Must be knowledgeable of Baxter specifications and procedures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and line capacity.
• Promote prudent resource and cost reduction initiatives.
