Job summary

Amgen North Carolina is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for Bulk Drug Substance Manufacturing Services on a night shift. The role supports 24/7 operations on a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule from 5:45pm to 6:15am, performing on-floor manufacturing of cGMP drug substances.

The technician will follow SOPs and MPs, ensure proper gowning and aseptic technique, and assist with documentation, equipment setup, cleaning, and calibration in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of manufacturing or regulated experience.
• Associates degree preferred or required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate hands-on on the floor, set-up, cleaning, sanitization, and monitoring of equipment in the assigned area.
• Buffer and media preparation and transfer.
• Weigh and dispense materials for buffers and medias.
• Complete washroom activities and maintain an organized, clean workspace; document activities as needed.
