Job summary

Amgen North Carolina (ANC) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for the 12-hour night shift to support 24/7 drug substance manufacturing operations. This role involves performing on-floor operations, adhering to cGMP, and ensuring proper gowning and aseptic techniques in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include setup, cleaning, buffer/media prep, weighing/dispensing materials, and documenting equipment logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of manufacturing or regulated experience.
• Associate’s degree.
• Completion of NC BioWorks Certificate Program.
• Experience in regulated biotech/pharma industry.
• Basic understanding of GMP principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient MS Office skills and familiarity with EBR/MES, DeltaV, and Electronic Quality Systems.
• Ability to perform assignments with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-floor operations following established cGMP SOPs, MPs, JHAs, CFR.
• Ensure proper gowning and aseptic techniques are always followed.
• Set up, cleaning, sanitization, and monitoring of equipment in the assigned area.
• Buffer and media preparation and transfer.
• Weigh and dispense materials for buffers and medias.
• Run and document washroom activities and equipment logs.
• Maintain organized, clean and safe work space.
