Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. in Pell City, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain production and facility equipment, performing preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance to support continuous plant operation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, HS diploma, ability to troubleshoot, work safely, and collaborate with cross-functional teams; overtime and shift flexibility are required, with a year-end bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ Maintenance/troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• HS Degree or equivalent.
• Basic maintenance experience in manufacturing facility.
• Experience with similar equipment and processes
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Follow site Environmental and Safety policies and Life Critical Rules including LOTO, Machine Guarding, Permit to Work, Respiratory Protection and other PPE where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, basic troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustment on all equipment as required.
• Diagnose equipment problems and take corrective action to achieve optimum line/mixer efficiency.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase reliability.
• Assist in set up, changeover, and troubleshoot filling equipment and packaging lines.
• Support operations in line changeovers, including disassembly/re-assembly of packaging/manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing machine electronic controls, sensors, servers, and drives.
