Job summary

Benjamin Moore has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our Pell City, AL manufacturing facility. The role maintains production and facility equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, working cross-functionally with a hands-on approach to packaging and manufacturing equipment.

Pay varies by experience and education; year-end bonus is eligible. Responsibilities include basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup of lines; documenting work steps and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance/troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• HS Degree or equivalent.
• Basic maintenance experience in manufacturing facility.
• Experience with similar equipment and processes.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Follow site Environmental and Safety policies including LOTO, Machine Guarding, Permit to Work, Respiratory PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, basic troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments on equipment; diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in setup, changeover, and troubleshoot packaging lines; support line changeovers including disassembly/re-assembly.
• Diagnose machine electronic controls, sensors, servers, and drives.
• Understand and support other systems impacting line efficiency (pumps, scales, etc.).
• Document all work in CMMS and report PM/ downtime performance; follow SOPs and safety policies.
