Job summary

The Kong Company LLC in Golden, Colorado is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee training of Press Operators and provide support to the Shift Supervisor. This full-time night shift runs 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday night through Saturday morning, and requires hands-on leadership to keep production running smoothly.

You will coach operators, manage batches, perform minor mold maintenance, document downtime, and ensure safety and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively lead and train a team.
• Must obtain forklift operation certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Willingness to help in a variety of areas.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a team of Press Operators and coach them throughout shifts.
• Assign and deliver batches of rubber to presses.
• Perform minor mold maintenance and keep machines functioning efficiently.
• Provide operator relief and potentially run a press for part of the shift.
