Job summary

KONG Company in Golden, CO is seeking a Shift Lead to guide press operators, coordinate rubber batches, and ensure safe, efficient production overnight from 10pm to 6am, Monday through Saturday. You will train operators, perform minor mold maintenance, and help document downtime while supporting the Shift Supervisor.

The role requires leadership, effective communication, and forklift operation certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead and train a team.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a team of press operators.
• Coordinate batches of rubber to presses.
• Perform minor mold maintenance and cleaning.
• Relieve operators and run press as needed.
• Document machine downtime events.
• Operate powered forklift to unload rubber.
• Inventory rubber and assign to machines.
• Ensure output data is entered correctly and area is clean.
• Fill in for supervisor as needed.
• Conduct hourly in-process inspections.
• Transport finished product to warehouse or transfer truck.
• Weigh and split rubber batches.
• Enforce all safety procedures.
• Assist in interviews.
