Job summary

K&M TIRE is seeking a Night Shift Manager to lead the warehouse team during nightly operations, ensuring accurate tire loading and efficient staging for delivery. You will supervise and train teammates, manage scheduling and time cards, and uphold safety and company policies.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to cross-train staff and fill in for other warehouse positions when needed.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

• Prior warehouse and shift-management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift operations including picking and staging of outgoing product.
• Supervise, direct, train, and develop teammates; cross-train as needed.
• Recruit, schedule, manage time cards, and handle evaluations.
• Ensure correct tires are loaded on trucks and loaded properly.
• Maintain safety, enforce policy, and secure building after shift.
• Respond to after-hours alarms and report issues to supervisor.

Job Summary

The NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER works under the direction of the warehouse manager; responsible for the night shift operations including oversees the pulling and staging of outgoing product; oversees loading of delivery trucks; provides training and direction for teammates; can fill in for all related warehouse positions; misc. duties.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

3. Ensure the correct tires are loaded on the trucks and in the right way, each and every time.
4. Supervise, direct, train, and develop teammates.
   1. Train, coach, motivate, appreciate and develop employees/teammates
   2. Track productivity of each teammate and hold them accountable for reaching goals.
5. Notify/work with the warehouse manager on items that need done or improved.
6. Responsible for employee recruiting, staffing, scheduling, time cards, evaluations, safety, etc.
7. Responsible for managing and resolving conflict in the work environment by using the company values as a guide.
8. Secure building before leaving.
   1. Turn off lights, set alarm, lock doors, etc.
9. Respond to after hour alarms.
10. Must be able to perform all employees’ job duties and cross-train employees.
11. Help out with any other duties needed.
12. Help out where needed within operations in the event of an absence.
13. Report any issues or concerns to your supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2 years of supervisory experience
