Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum uptime for our facility and manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and drive root-cause solutions to keep operations safe and efficient. Shift: C Team, 7pm-7am, 2-2-3.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical repair experience.
• Strong analytical, mechanical, and logical troubleshooting aptitude.
• Relevant technical certifications/licenses are preferred (or obtained within specified timeline).
• Driven by safety, curiosity, continuous improvement, and team success.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems using schematics and tools.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
• Install, inspect, and repair motors, wiring, switchboards, relays, and circuit breakers safely.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
• Inspect equipment to ensure OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean workspace.
• Support facility upkeep including HVAC and plumbing as needed.
