Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance/repair.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience a plus but not required.
• HVAC, PLCs, hydraulics, and related mechanical systems knowledge.
• Able to understand verbal and visual instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace and perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment, chilled water systems, hydraulics, wastewater systems and air compressors.
• Respond to emergency calls, evaluate situations and take corrective action.
• Operate CMMS system and maintain records.
• Communicate with production and other mechanics to identify issues and provide feedback.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and efficiency; support company objectives.
• Work overtime during emergencies to prevent disruption of the facility.
