Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine and breakdown maintenance on processing and packaging equipment. The role focuses on keeping the plant running in compliance with safety and GMP rules, aiding with machine set-ups, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs where applicable.

The position requires at least two years of manufacturing maintenance experience and a technical background in electrical/mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school coursework/degree preferred (boiler, welding, electrical, HVAC).
• Minimum two years in maintenance/repair in manufacturing; mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with every shift and supervisor.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance following SOPs and safety policies.
• Provide emergency repairs for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems as needed.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs and update equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders; document work orders in the system.
• Maintain knowledge of plant processes and minimize downtime while preserving quality.
