Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair plant machinery and systems. The role emphasizes minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document work orders while ensuring safety and efficient operation in a chemical-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Must follow safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems; problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper function.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and expertise.
• Repair or replace parts as necessary.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance and work orders; manage inventory.
• Communicate with colleagues and departments to coordinate work.
• Keep work area clean and safe; may be on-call.
• Generate work orders and close them in systems when completed.
