Job summary

AZEK Exteriors in Mooresville, NC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for night shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday to Thursday. You’ll maintain lines, repair equipment, and document maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a large manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar position.
• Proven experience in working with and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong background in manufacturing systems in a dynamic fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Forklift certified.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings (a plus).
• Strong decision‑making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be self‑directed, motivated and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first attitude and follow all company safety requirements.
• Ensure production lines and other equipment are always maintained and able to run.
• Complete work requests as defined by plant engineer, plant manager and shift leaders.
• Service lines by completing daily preventative maintenance.
• Contribute to line commissioning after maintenance/process events.
• Assume a strong role in the understanding and implementation of plant projects.
• Operate in a manner that provides value to the team.
• Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.
• Complete tasks with other maintenance personnel while working within a team environment.
