Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and operation of machinery in a plastic injection molding facility. You will complete preventive maintenance tasks and perform reactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime while prioritizing safety.

You will inspect and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, HVAC, and related systems, perform electrical troubleshooting with a multimeter, and support continuous improvement projects that enhance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or technical training a plus.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic system repair.
• Knowledge of injection molding, pneumatic conveying, chilled water systems, and grinders.
• Skilled in using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus skills: ability to read hydraulic schematics, welding, machining, and lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and more.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems to minimize downtime.
• Support engineering-led projects, kaizen events, and continuous improvement efforts that reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
• Help manage spare parts inventory, assist with building repairs, and coordinate with contractors on system upgrades.
• Act fast during issues, performing timely troubleshooting and repairs to keep production moving.
• Partner with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to keep operations safe, smooth, and efficient.
