Job summary

The position offers competitive pay starting at $34.55 per hour with premium pay of time-and-a-half on weekends and a $1.50 per hour evening shift differential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent mechanical training is required.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting, pumps, welding, and rigging.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to train and improve technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot, repair mechanical and electrical systems on coil processing equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs on drive trains including gear boxes, sprockets, chains, belts, and bearings.
• Maintain certifications, machine history and maintenance documentation for production equipment.
• Guide production staff in routine preventive maintenance techniques and safety practices.
• Test equipment to ensure production and quality standards are met.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and tooling; document maintenance actions and irregularities.
