Job summary

Perdue Farms in Schulenburg, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep our production lines running at peak efficiency. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00pm–6:00am. You will perform preventive maintenance, support changeovers, document work, and adhere to safety standards in a poultry processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in Industrial Maintenance with electrical/mechanical experience.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Ability to demonstrate/achieve Maintenance Tech II proficiency within 10 months.
• Preferred: 2-year technical degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated/electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment setup and production changeovers as needed.
• Provide operators with support around machine reliability and safety.
