Job summary

WM is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment, including boilers, steam systems, water treatment, air handling, washers, conveyors, and electrical/pneumatic systems.

The role requires an associate degree or technical training and 3+ years of related experience. Safety is a priority, with strict adherence to protocols and proper documentation of all maintenance work.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school, or the equivalent in related work experience.
3 or more years related experience and/or training, demonstrating the ability to identify and perform repairs that are needed.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic evaluation on equipment and makes needed repairs to maintain operational readiness.
Performs preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on plant machinery.
Maintenance includes boilers, steam systems, water treatment, air handling, conveyors, and electrical/pneumatic systems.
Documents results through work orders and maintains safety protocols.
