Job summary

Purity Dairies in Nashville is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a night shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) with rotating days. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, processing, and packaging equipment and utilities, read schematics, and document work orders.

Experience in manufacturing and ammonia refrigeration is preferred. The role requires reading and writing English, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical schooling in electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding, refrigeration or plumbing preferred.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Able to read technical diagrams and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing and packaging equipment and utilities.
• Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics and work orders.
• Support installation of new equipment and assist operators with troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders accurately and document repairs and parts used.
